With a passion for horticulture and a desire to help others, Betsy Block founded Serene & Green to provide personalized care and garden design for gravesites. Her goal is to provide clients with peace of mind knowing that their loved one’s final resting place is being cared for with respect, compassion, and an eye for beauty.

Betsy was formerly a Master Gardener in Chester County and has taken classes at Longwood Gardens, the Morris Arboretum, and Mt. Cuba Center. She volunteered as a Grave Gardener at The Woodlands in Philadelphia and currently serves on the Board of Appleford in Villanova.

Fun fact: Betsy once lived in an historic 74-acre cemetery in Amherst, Massachusetts as a tenant in Wildwood Cemetery’s original farmhouse.
